Error Response: Access to path denied - configuring Wowza Storage using Setup Wizard

Symptom

After configuring Wowza storage in your portal using Setup Wizard, you may encounter the following error when in the Network Call as Response:

Access to Path denied {{Path}}

Cause

This problem occurs mostly when adequate permissions are not given against the folder where the content resides.

Resolution

To fix this issue, make sure while creating Network Share for your content storage, configure custom permissions for the share by giving Read permissions to Everyone so that Wowza Streaming Engine can access and stream the content.
